Radcliffes le Brasseur

Turnover (£m): 16.5
RPL (£k): 220

Radcliffes Le Brasseur has traditionally scorned the limelight, preferring to plug away quietly. But the Westminster firm features in The Lawyer UK 200 Annual Report this year with an estimated turnover of £16.5m after enjoying the fruits of its first full year following its September 2009 tie-up with West End boutique Lithgow Pepper & Eldridge.

The two-partner firm boosted Radcliffes’ capabilities in tax and corporate work, which are both strong areas for the firm. Radcliffes now has 37 partners and a further 38 qualified lawyers.

Healthcare is the firm’s biggest practice area, with 14 partners in its London and Leeds offices, while tax and private client is also significant, keeping 10 partners busy.

Although the main centre of the firm’s operations are in the capital and Leeds, Radcliffes also has a small office in Cardiff.
